Long Absence

Tue Sep 29, 2009, 2:07 PM
Wow, now this has been a very long absence. Didn't even realise that so much time has passed so quickly. Anyway, I finally added one of my latest works. Took me a lot of effort to post it up. For some reason it feels very personal, even though nothing in there is connected. Maybe if I had wider window sills I would sit on them reading a book, until then, my comfy bed will have to do :)

Something new

Sat Feb 14, 2009, 3:17 PM
I got tired of the old journal entry and decided to post this up, just so that I don't see the old depressed one, since I am not depressed anymore. In fact I am quite happy recently. Maybe it's because I am going away from London for a couple of days to visit my family and friends in Riga.

No Name

Thu Jan 29, 2009, 9:03 PM
I'm depressed and I can't write. I am depressed BECAUSE I can't write. So I guess my long absence of updates is because I am depressed and I can't write. Oh, and did I mention that I am depressed and can't write?

Anyway... That was off-topic. Just updating it because I am sick of the previous journal entry. But I really have quite the writers block. haven't written anything in ages. But that's partly because I have been using all my writing skills to write up reports for Uni. Hopefully I'll have a bit more time from now on to write at least something. It definately won't be the necromencer though, cause my writing is still not that good and I just don't want to spoil it.

Experimenting

Thu Oct 9, 2008, 11:43 AM
Just to let you know. I am currently experimenting with my writing style, so the next few uploads will not be the next part of the Necromancer. There are a number of reasons for that. First of all, I am experimenting with my style, so I don't want the necromancer to be written in different styles, so I'd rather experiment on other works.
Second, I wan to find that perfect style for me, so that I am comfortable writing it and others like it.
Third, the idea behind the necromancer is really good, and there are loads of them. So i want to be able to write is as good as I possibly can. So that's why I'm kind of leaving it for later.
Sorry about thatm, but in the end I am thinking about my readers. I don't want them to read my bad stories.

If you have any suggestions to my necromancer stories or to any other I am open to hear them. Everything you say helps me shape my writing style. COnstructive criticism is alwys welcome.

Series

Thu Sep 25, 2008, 1:03 PM
Ok, so I have started the new series. For now they are called the Tale of the Necromancer. It will change later in the series when I come up with a better name.

This is just a small preview. In fact, this is the beginning. The actual chapters will be longer. I hope much longer. I haven't yet decided on the format of the chapters, because right now I don't have the actual story written. It's just a bunch of ideas I have. So it's kind of difficult to say anything specific about the series.

I have put the mature fiter, not because there is something particularly violent or gory. But since it does deal with death and all that stuff, and it will probably get more violent/gory, I decided to put it just in case.

So I hope you enjoy it. If you have any suggestions, comments feel free to leave them. As always, I do appreciate constructive criticism.
